Tips for dressing up
slide mounts
Stamp, Paint, Ink & Tools
Suggestions provided by Loersch Corp.
Use Staz On ink or any other
permanent ink pad to add color to slide mounts. Use rubber stamps to
make designs. You can also mark up the surface to create additional
texture. Add more color or texture with acrylic paint or specialty
paints such as Krylon, for suede, metallic or stone effects. Cover the slide
with double-sided tape and press on microbeads or glitter. Rub-Ons can also
add a personal touch for words, phrases, dates, or names. Also, use
Hot Tools like the Hot Marks, Dremel tool or a small bit on a regular power
drill to make holes in it for brads, fiber or wire attachments. |
